Testing methodology

Test its plug and play operation and all of its features.

Hardware used:

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Smartphone

Sandberg Battery Pack 18600 mAh

– Then our PC:
Processor: Intel i7 4790k @ 4.0 GHz – HT and Turbo Boost Enabled up to 4.4 GHz
CPU cooler: Cryorig C7
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus Impact VII Z97 mITX with Bluetooth 4.0 built in
RAM: 16 GB (2x 8 GB) DDR3 Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracers 1600 Mhz CL8 LED
SSD: M.2 Samsung 950 Pro 512 GB MLC
GPU: MSI GTX 980ti 6G Gaming TFV
Case: Thermaltake V1 Core mITX
Case Fans: 1x 200 mm Thermaltake PWM
PSU: Corsair SFX 600W
Display: Samsung 32″ FHD TV LED 100 Hz – UE32F5000
So here are our findings:

This device can be really loud and also clear.

We used our smartphone (the Samsung Note 4) to connect it and then our PC. In both cases really excellent output quality. Very easy to connect as well and quick to find it in the Bluetooth search.

Minor interference in a voice call but that was due to bad internet connection. On the receiver end also a Samsung Note 4 was used.

Easy to operate – circular knob for volume control plus the touchscreen fro next and previous track section.

To power it – long press the power button located underneath it, you will get a sound notification and the logo on the top will flash in blue indicating that it is ready to be paired. It will stay on for 10 minus and if no pairing it will turn itself off.

To charge it it’s just plug and play. The logo will become red to indicate that it is charging.
When done it will become green. We have wished for a battery level indicator for real time status.

Don’t forget to enjoy the full video review as well.

All in all we are pleasantly surprised with this wireless speaker from SoundPEATS, it excels at audio quality and features and not to mention design.
