The UMX1 Plus is a revised version of the UMX1. The interior design has been slightly modified in accordance with current customer requirements. Thus, the UMX1 Plus can be equipped with ATX power supplies. In addition, two external PCI slots allow at the back of the installation of expansion cards.

The compact Mini-ITX case combines a steel chassis for maximum stability with an extravagant exterior designed in brushed aluminum. The design of the sleek aluminum casing is both elegant and functional.The fine curves of the UMX1 Plus automatically draw attention to itself.

A design highlight of the case is without a doubt the peppy designed “case foot.” Between the bottom of the chassis and the “foot” is a 4 cm high recess.

Thanks to specially decoupled side panels the UMX1 Plus is also very quiet during operation. The side panels rest on a specially designed silicone pad, optimally absorbing the vibrations that may incur.

The compact case is designed to house a full-fledged PC with the smallest possible dimensions based on a Mini-ITX board. For this reason, assembly areas for optical drives or extra-long video cards have been left out.

Dual Slot VGA cards up to a length of 270 mm and CPU coolers up to a height of 130 mm are supported.

The chassis of the UMX1 Plus is made of high quality 0.8 – made of 1 mm thick SGCC steel and gives the case maximum stability. A 2.0 mm thick aluminum panel encloses the chassis. The brushed aluminum is of the highest quality and gives the UMX1 Plus a particularly attractive appearance.

The interior of the UMX1 Plus offers a simple and functional design. The UMX1 can be equipped with ATX power supplies. The power supply is mounted upright behind the front panel – the power

One 3.5 inch and one 2.5 inch drives or two 2.5 inch HDD/SSD can be installed at the bottom of the case.

The ventilation system of the UMX1 is designed to minimize noise while ensuring the best possible cooling. A 120 mm fan – pre-installed under the top cover -provides the continuous removal of the generated heat from the interior. If necessary, one 80 mm fan can be installed at the rear to further optimize the heat exchange.

Air inlets in the floor, at the back and under the top cover allow for ideal air exchange. Dust filters under the bottom ensure that dust stays on the outside of the case. They can be easily removed and cleaned.

Two USB 3.0 “Super Speed” and two USB 2.0 connectors are available externally. Thus, external hard disk or USB drives can be connected quickly and easily.
