Here is the TeckNet docking station next to a regular 3.5″ HDD for a size reference. On the top side we have the 2x bays that both support either 2.5″ HDD/SDDs or 3.5″ HDDs.
Zooming into the LED activity side. From left to right: On/off, Drive 1 (A), four percentages of space and Drive 2 (B).
From this angle we see the offline cloning switch.
On the back area we have the AC power input, the USB connection part and the ON/OFF button.
The bottom area has 4 rubberized pads for anti slipping and the manufacturer code.
Let’s load it up.
Here how it looks with one HDD 2.5″ and one 3.5″ drive.
And here with the 2x 3.5″ 1 TB Samsungs, the main testing subjects.
It has a solid and secure fitment, despite the heavy nature of 3.5″ hard drives.
Testing methodology
Given the nature of this product, we will only do some file transfers because that’s the main purpose of it.
