And the final chapter of that USA trip happened when we went to visit one of the most beautiful natural places i have seen in my lifetime so far !
Grand Canyon.
Booked the trip via a bus that included everything.
Later we found out that you can even take a helicopter tour and you can land anywhere you want !
So now i know what to do if i go back.
We left early in the morning.
The bus driver does a better job in storytelling than me, so enjoy the following clips.
We were getting closer to Hoover Dam.
And almost on it.
It’s just amazing what things mankind can build.
Who saw Transformers 1, it was a key setting in the movie.
And here it is from the other side.
Moving forward, we entered the reservation.
I can’t believe it, exactly like in the old western movies !
We went to West and East Camps of that area.
Which translates to barely 3-5% of what you can see of the Grand Canyon.
I mean you can see it from space, that big it is !
I will try to give you a sense of perspective.
And finally the moment we were all been waiting for, here it is …
Life in a nutshell
And regarding perspective .. did you see the helicopter ?
No? Look again, it was a small black dot in the upper right side of the video - will zoom in for you.
And then look at the ant like people.
Then where the helicopter trips start.
Time run out and we had to go.
But someone seamed to miss us.
One more stop along the way back and the fun never ends in Vegas in variety.
After this we went to New York (for myself the 2nd time and we did almost the same so no need to cover it again on the blog)
What more can we say than Viva Las Vegas !
Amazing trip.
And the famous quote is true.
We left Vegas as we entered it, at nigh to wonder again of its sparkling facade.
