Enough of Manhattan, let’s do other islands.

First Battery Park and the neighboring piers.

“… whatcha gonna do when they come for you…”

New Jersey on the other shore.

Next we took the ferry and landed on Staten Island.

There she is, Lady Liberty.
Her turn will soon come.

Finally going to the Statue Of Liberty.
This was the waiting line.
Omg.
Plus airport security.

Some street entertainment to pass the time.

On the ferry, at last.

..and there she is. :)

The small island housing it, what else could the name be other than Liberty Island :)

At the restaurant and gift show it seamed to me i could hear familiar language.
Almost all of the employees were Romanians !

Then who’s a fan of the OCC custom bikes show, we have the “Liberty Bike”, built by them.

You can go up the statue but the line i think you need to book it a lot of days in advanced.
So we enjoyed the surrounding view.

Some history.

Can’t believe how high the Twin Towers were.

And the mandatory pictures with it.

Superb scene, Adrian all of a sudden, he had a … kid.

Left to our final destination of the day but not before to capture this moment:

Going toEllis Island.
Central processing center for all incoming immigrants.

Simply breathtaking what we witnessed here.
To set the mood, i propose this song.

There is even a computer where you can enter your name and maybe you can find some family ancestors.
This i what my name came up in the search.

More from our country.

And this is just mind-blowing.

Everything was epic.
What more to say, they really know how to preserve and present.

Stay tuned, and in our opinion, we saved the best for last. :)
