But let’s see our neighbors.
And basically every weekend, on a Saturday, we left home and traveled no matter what.
Exactly us.
In this episode we went to the 3rd town next to us, Brixham.
It’s the one we see from our side of Torquay.
Hopped in our baby blue bubble car.
At that time we were confronting with a mental challenge because we had to teach our brains to drive on the left side.
So baby steps all the way, even the simpler tasks of driving were a new … dare.
That’s why our Corsa is the perfect car to start to (re)learn how to drive and because it was an automatic transmission and it will make it easier on our transition.
So this is Adrian, the ‘instructor’, and me the ‘pupil’.
No subtitles required, just laugh, we don’t care anymore.
OK, we finally managed to survive the parking lot and continued on the highway.
And at our first destination after a very long … 10 minutes drive.
We have Berry Head.
Yeah, i tried to keep the original audio.. no sir, need to put ‘under 18′ sign.
So back to music for a while.
In the middle there is a cafe, so that’s an excellent checkpoint.
Yeah, we were talking about politics, black ops and … food.
Hm… qu’est cet objet?
Meat.. no, no.
Je suis vegetarian !
Merde !
Omlet au fromage !
They lied, they said it was vegetarian.
Noooo…
Adrian couldn’t handle it any more.
The horror…
(..and no, Adrian is not vegetarian if you were wondering..)
Refueled and continued to the edge of glory.
And behold… more tranquility.
Come with me if you want to live.
We decided to explore even further, such a beautiful day.
And we went on the the other side of it, where more miracles awaited us.
First passed through the city and from a distance it looks a lot like Torquay.
Then we advanced into the wilderness.
We even found a residential area that was being built ..but next to a military retired outpost ?!
Even further and found a secluded beach.
Night was coming and headed back, but we took a different route.
And so glad we did that because behold the magic we witnessed.
Just wow.
We couldn’t believe that with every trip we managed to find even more amazing places and surpass the last one again and again!
I mean we said “can there be places better that this?”
Yes there are !
