In this episode I want to share something really special because I want this blog to evolve and give even more insight.
You all know by now that I love to travel, I have many hobbies etc
You can say I love life.
But nothing is more beautiful and evolving that to … (read on)
The events are not in chronological order, as I am interested in presenting some main ideas and sentiments that I hope some can relate.
I am in a place where I can afford sometimes to day dream and contemplate.
This has been one of my many objective to be in a place that has a balance in civilization but also in nature and freedom.
Check.
Then i like to interact with as many interesting new people as I can. But in a subconscious level, I am doing a search.
And what do I seek?
A soul mate.
Yes I am a incurable romantic.
Sometimes, the universe aligns itself so that it gives you what you want when you least expect it.
“One cannot divide nor forecast the conditions that will make happiness;
One only stumbles upon them by chance, in a lucky hour, at world’s end somewhere,
And holds fost to the days, as to fortune or fame”
- Willa Cather, “Le Levandou”, 1902
Thus I got the chance to interact with one of the most humble, beautiful and kind person you will ever meet.
We met by chance.
I have known her since I was in school and I always thought there is really something special about her but i could quite figure it out at that time. Magic is what i usually called when i can’t explain what i feel. Not a mirage or an illusion. But real magic. Those sparks that electrify you to your core.
Today I call it … (read on).
Most of our interactions happen while travelling.
As would a true glob3trotter would do.
I invited her to some places I wanted to share and hoped she would like them.
So without further ado, not in chronological order, let me present you Sidmouth.
Another small town by the coast, which is a gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
The road trip, my God was of epic fun, we laughed so much, I had to pull over to catch my breath. One big clip will soon follow.
Pictures will vary from good to bad weather because i already been here in a previous trip and combined all the material.
The town had a large beach and is full of hotels right on the edge.
Then the town’s center is full of shops, of course.
Ah yes …
At the end of the beach we have Jacob’s Ladder. At first i toughed about the psychological movie from 1990. Gave me some shivers but now i see what it was all about. Speaking off, just a flashback when i was here with Adrian doing his Superman thing.
As you walk up you enter this fortress which is now a botanical garden. Amazing. I was like, I hope she likes flowers.
The day had come to an end.
So much fun we had just from talking and having wonderful conversations.
To see life through other peoples life, like hers was amazing.
Time became relative, just to prove that Einstein was right.
You get the picture what i was about in the beginning, I started to fall for her.
I don’t know if she knows or noticed at that time but i should have spoken from the heart more.
All I have are some memories which i will try to share in more episodes to come.
It took me almost half a year to write this because I don’t know how else to reach her.
So I made a leap of faith and I hope the the universe will help us meet again.
Georgia, if you are reading this; Hello. Remember when …
