It’s been a while since our adventures, but hey-ho now it’s the perfect time to catch up.
Sometimes we reduce our life and thinking to simple elements like signs of .. hope.
One such for us was basically starring in our face on the map.
Where should we find some hope?
Here ! Hope Cove !
We wanted sun.
But the weather was on the low side.
The Buddhists say that we need the sun at least once a day in our lives to be healthy.
So time to hope and search for it.
We hoped it in the time machine and off we went.
Here you can see why we said the weather was on the low side and it was a long gamble to find some sun.
In the second part of the clip you will see how deep some roads are.. literally it’s like we were traveling in Alice’s Wanderland.
Then add a lot of mist.
Then we even went almost off road in the mud.
Remember we have a sports/ convertible RWD car … here you need 4×4.
Did that stop us?
Nooo.
This clip reminds me when they wanted to travel through the Amazon. But they had Range Rovers.
Before we got to our destination, we made a small detour to Mothecombe.
It looked interesting on the map as well because it was near the water.
Guess what?
Tide time and no water.
So we decide to explore a little.
And found a way to descent onto the sandy beach itself.
What a beautiful and remote area.
Took some time to enjoy the view.
Then we headed out to reach our main destination.
Can you believe that the sun came out?
Hurrah !
And ladies and gentlemen, here we are at Hope Cove, where we found what we were searching for all day.
That’s the power of faith.

We had lunch here at the Sun Bay Hotel and later i uploaded some of the pictures on Instagram and the hotel asked me if they can use some of ours on their website/Instagram. So we are on the right path of photography.
So yes, 2 small trips but what a wonderful complementary combo like Ying and Yang.
